Natural Aspirated Radiation Shields

• Metal construction eliminates the problem of eventual breakdown of plastic materials which causes surfaces to become hygroscopic.

• Metal construction eliminates the need for special coatings which must be applied to plastic plates in order to prevent moisture buildup. Coatings must be applied on a regular basis to maintain hydrophobic quality of plastic.

• Metal construction significantly reduces the effects of RFI and EMI at sites where radio communications and RF data transmission signals are in the area.

• ESP plate design eliminates potential for moisture buildup at outer edges of plates. Plastic shields retain slight amounts of moisture at edges giving erroneous RH/T data.

• ESP shields can be provided for increased protection against solar radiation or modified for increased air flow.

• ESP high gloss, ultra white finished surfaces minimize the heating of air passing over the plates raising apparent temperature levels.

• ESP special coating is guaranteed to retain the finish even when used in aggressive environments such as coastal or power plant sites.
